Doors, very old



On our travels through France - looking for an old farmhouse -

we found such fantastic old doors

No. 5 is our own homemade door

Very old and used a long time ago

This is at ours and "himself" made this door of old planks
and .......... discovered steps to the toilet;
yes, you are right to ask: What, a toilet?
Old farmhouses in France had only such toilets, great luxury!
Water from the source is running through a narrow channel,
a true WC
We had to use it in the beginning of our time at the farmhouse
because no other possibility existed.

We are looking for another old farm house.
I would not like to have entrances like this...
but it is picturesque
