Holiday impressions 2011

In France, in the Vosges, one day - and maybe another one we had fine weather to eat outside.
It is the family of our daughter, cousin Yann and friend Bennet
look at those clouds - it was mostly like that

And the above missing family father, DH, eating here at a picknick place -
however some 200 km further south. Because alone again, we made a trip through the eastern part of France

...saw this beautiful meadow and many other things which I did not take pictures of -
about 6 old houses which were on sale
but not for us - too old - too much work - too large - too small - too expensive - too far away

and going on to Geneva
where a super dinner in the garden and two comfortable beds were waiting for us -
weather was so exceptionally fine we could see the 8410 m high Montblanc with its snowcap - without snow it measures 4792m - I don't know - is it ever without snow?
and in the foreground the Lac Leman (Lake of Geneva)

  1. The scenery in Europe is just magnificent. Thank you for showing us the photos of your lovely family and their visit. You must miss them now they are gone home.
